Pinkblog.it is an online magazine written for women — and, quite deliberately, for women who don't need a label. We cover beauty, fashion, health, food, family and entertainment, and alongside all of that we cover the news and the issues that shape women's lives, from rights and work to the stories worth telling.
What you'll find here
Our beauty and fashion sections range from haircuts, colour and styling to make-up, skincare, nail art and fragrance, with tutorials you can actually follow at home and looks you can adapt rather than simply admire. In food we publish recipes for every day and for occasions worth the effort, plus the practical kitchen know-how that rarely gets written down. Our family and motherhood pages follow pregnancy, children and the everyday logistics of family life, while lifestyle and entertainment keep you up to date on film, television, travel ideas and what people are talking about.
And then there is current affairs: women's rights, work, society, violence against women, the women who are changing things. We think a magazine that talks about lipstick can talk about these subjects too, and that it should.
How we work
We write the way you'd talk to a friend who happens to know the subject: clearly, without jargon and without condescension. We don't assume our readers need to be simplified for, and we don't pretend there's a single right way to be a woman — the point of what we publish is to give you options, not instructions.
Where our content touches on health, nutrition or wellbeing, it is informational and never a substitute for professional advice: for anything concerning your own health, please speak to your doctor or another qualified professional. When we get something wrong, we correct it and say that we have.
